  • MASS MINISTRY

    • At St. Boniface, a great way to build community and encounter Christ is through our Mass Ministry. Our Mass ministers are an integral part of the weekend Mass experience and essential to our parish life!

If you are interested in serving the parish as an Extraordinary Misister of Holy Communion, Usher, Greeter, Lector, or Altar Server, please contact Chris Bell [email protected] for more information.

Learn below about our Mass Ministry roles and the many different ways that you can serve!

    • Eucharistic Minister Extraordinary Minister Of Holy Communion (EMHC) are called upon to assist the Celebrant in the distribution of Holy Communion.
    • Ushers Ushers are the face of hospitality at Mass and other parish sacramental celebrations. Ushers will assist the faithful to their seats, take up the offertory collection, facilitate the Holy Communion reception, and assist with a variety of needs as people gather and dismiss.
    • Greeters Greeters welcome and help guide parishioners into the sanctuary. They are also available to answer questions from guests who are new to our parish and hand out bulletins after Mass.
    • Lectors Lectors are called upon to proclaim the Word at Mass. Our parish community usually requires two lectors for each Mass. As preparation for Lectors, those installed as Lectors will be called to meditate on the Readings of the Day before serving at Mass. Weekend Lector Roles: L1: Announcements and First Reading L2: Second Reading and Prayers of the Faithful
    • Altar Servers Our parish community encourages 4th grade and older youth to serve at Mass. The Liturgical Committee along with Parish Ministry Coordinator will provide training for Altar Servers.
