Ever wonder who the nice couple is who sits in front of you at Mass or the name of that friendly person who smiles so warmly at the sign of peace? Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? is a ministry at St. Boniface to help us see Christ in each other, as well as promote and strengthen our parish community by offering a way to meet others and have fun at the same time!
WHAT: A fun way to gather in a relaxed and informal atmosphere over dinner and conversation. You'll meet other adults in groups of 6-8 people in parishioners' homes. There is an element of surprise to the evening -- you'll find out a week ahead the address you're going to and what to bring, but you won't know who else will be there until you arrive!
WHEN: Our first dinner will be Friday, December 2, at 6:30pm. (We hope to have more dinners in the future!)
WHERE: At the home of a host. It is not necessary to be a host to participate.
WHY: It's a great way to meet people you see at Mass and in our community, as well as an opportunity to help us encounter Christ in each other.
WHO: All couples and singles (21 and older) of the parish.
HOW: The host provides the main course and beverages. One week before the dinner, each guest will receive an email or phone call asking them to bring an appetizer, salad, bread, vegetable or dessert, along with the address and phone number of the host (but not the name -- it's a surprise!)
