Feast of the Presentation of the Lord
At Faith Formation this month, we heard a story about Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to the temple. In that story, we met Anna and Simeon. Well, there is a special feast day that celebrates this story. This year, it falls on February 1. You can find out more here:

Taking care of the earth
It has been almost six years since Pope Francis wrote the letter, Laudato Si, On Care for Our Common Home. In that letter, the pope explained what needs to be done to make the earth a healthier place to live and preserve it for future generations. Here is a short video about Pope Francis’ letter:
