Our parish mission speaker is Josh Danis, director of parish engagement for Hallow, the Catholic app.
In an interview with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Josh said, “I see things through an evangelizing lens. We’re all living out our redemption story, and Jesus made our redemption possible.”
Josh was raised Catholic in Dayton and earned a theology degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio. He describes his first job out of college as being a “go-fer” at a Dayton law firm.
“I’d been praying the rosary for my future family situation and the Chaplet of St. Michael for my occupational future,” Joshua recalls. Then, he received a call from St. Michael – not the archangel, but a parish in New Hampshire.
A friend had recommended him to the pastor, who was seeking a director of evangelization. “I told the priest ‘I don’t know exactly what it means to evangelize, but I’m willing to try it!’” Josh said.
Josh's next job was as national coordinator for Radio Maria. After that, he went to work for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Josh worked for the archdiocese of Cincinnati for four years before he served six years as National Director for Catholic Context for Alpha USA.
Think of Hallow as a resource to help you dive deeper into your prayer life, whether you're new to prayer or pray daily.
With 10,000+ prayers and meditations, from daily reflections to community challenges, the app supports you in finding peace, falling asleep easier, and building a community in Christ.
Hallow is FREE to all St. Boniface parishioners and their families from the beginning of Advent through Easter Sunday 2024. Click on the link below and search for St. Boniface Catholic Church to set up your account.
