CRHP program being re-evaluated (12/1/16)
Christ Renews Alumni,
Christ Renews His Parish has struggled for some time to sign up participants and to form teams with new people who just attended a weekend. It was put on hold in October to allow us time to assess the situation, the challenges, and determine whether it is sustainable here at St. Boniface. On Tuesday, December 6, the Continuation Committee will meet to discuss the viability of CRHP. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm in the Mary & Joseph room. You are welcome to come add to the discussion.
What is Christ Renews His Parish?
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) is a process carefully designed to bring members of a parish closer together. Just as all of our other commitments need renewal, so does our spiritual commitment. CRHP is an effective spiritual renewal that calls together members of our parish. Best of all, there is no fee for attending.
Not convinced? Make sure to watch a video or two. As much as you think, “I’m not the sort of person to attend such programs” everyone who attends will attest to what a truly beneficial weekend it was.
What Should You Expect?
CRHP is a break from your busy schedule of personal, business, and family obligations. It is a time to relax, reflect, and let go of the everyday “chaos.” Enjoy laughter and developing friendships by meeting with and listening to the experiences of other men or women from our Parish in an informal and relaxed environment of reflection, fellowship, and fun. An added benefit is great food and drink.
