More than two-dozen trips await Blessed Bikers, a group of parishioners and non-parishioners alike, for the summer and fall of 2016. In an effort to put more vroommm into their outings the group invites new and previous riders to join them on their weekly, Monday evening trips. Or, if you’re not a cyclist, simply join them for dinner or ice cream at the weekly destination.
Bruno Andreini, one of the leaders of the group told us, “We invite riders to join us for our weekly ride, or simply hop in the car and meet us at the chosen restaurant. We’re all about the comradery of the event and we want everyone, whether they’re a parishioner or not, to feel welcome. In addition to our weekly rides from early May thru the end of October, we are also planning several special rides this year. For example, we have a trip planned to Walnut, Iowa on Sunday, July 17. Once there we’ll enjoy a group breakfast, go to Mass or worship at the church of their choice, and then we’ll spend a few hours antiquing the numerous stores in this great little town before heading home.”
The Blessed Bikers season started their riding season in early May and will continue each Monday through October, leaving at 6:15 p.m. from the St. Boniface parking lot. Come join us for a summer of fun and making new friendships. Questions: Contact Bruno Andreini at 515-240-3858. To view the schedule, click on this link blessed bikers schedule.
